Nothing special. Felt tricked into the subscription.
I tried to make Todoist part of my routine. I tried the subscription trial to see if the extra features would be what made it work. It didn’t. The same day I went to cancel the free trial, I was charged for a full year subscription. I understand missing the date was my fault, but it did seem sleazy that they didn’t just send a reminder, like “hey, your paid subscription is about to start”. If it was for one month, no big deal, but one year is not cheap. Worse, when i contacted customer support, they could actually not tell me if the subscription was auto-renewing or not and referred me to check my PayPal account.
The Todoist app itself is nothing special. It’s just like any other to-do app. Entering tasks takes too many steps. The Todoist interface is typical, like most other to-do apps. This app seems to lack focus on what exactly it’s trying to be very good at.
