App not working with v6.3 upgrade

The app looks like it is running, but the main window is no where to found.
The menu bar icon is also taking up about 4x more space than normal. There is just blank space on either side of the menu bar icon. When you click on the menu bar icon the blank space on either side of the icon become blue; so I know the blank space is being used by the Todoist menu bar icon.

I have tried deleting the app, restarting and re-installing from the App Store; and still it is not working.

If I select “Quick Add Task” from the Todoist “Window” drop down menu, the window to start typing the task appears, but the app then crashes if attempt to use it.

I am running OSX v10.11.13 on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
